Last week in our ISHE Seminar we were asked to design a T-Shirt. The design of the T-Shirt had to be a message about ‘who you are and what you want others to know about you’.

So for my T-Shirt design I decided to create a Mnemonic about my name ‘ABI’. Three simple words that descried my personality and feelings about starting my university experience in London. You can see the T-Shirt design in the picture below:

A is for ACTIVE

I have always been an athletic person. I use to train and compete for my local running club, Stratford-upon-Avon. I have competed in 400m, 800m and cross country for my club and my county (Warwickshire). I was also involved in my sixth form netball team and since moving to London I have joined the UAL netball team. I am thoroughly enjoying being part of the UAL netball team, it has given me the opportunity to meet new people and continue to keep active. I am happy to tell people that I am an active person, I believe it is a big part of my personality.

B is for BUBBLY

I am an enthusiastic person, at the moment I am excited about living in London, meeting new people and learning new skills at university. There has been so much change that has happened over the last few weeks, meaning there is loads of opportunities. Making new friends and exploring London with them is very exciting, being in London has made me full of high spirits.

I is for INSPIRED

I have been inspired a lot by moving to London and starting University. Moving to London is so different to home as there is always so much going on. I love being able to explore such a vibrant and electric city. I have so far done loads of sightseeing, shopping, visited exhibitions and been to the theatre. Starting university has also inspired me lots. I am loving the course and really enjoy being able to study a subject I find interesting. I am currently inspired to learn more, enjoy this city and succeed in my degree.
